Is Otto legit?
Yes. Otto is a service of Insyder LLC, a company registered in Wyoming (USA), founded by Facundo Destefano and accelerated by Emprelatam. It talks to your phone, internet or TV provider in Argentina for you to lower your bill. It doesn’t ask for passwords, never sees your card number and only charges if it actually saves you money.

What Otto does and doesn’t do
What it does
- It talks to your provider (Personal with Flow and Fibertel, Movistar, Claro, Telecentro, DirecTV, and the newspapers La Nación and Clarín) and asks for a better price for the same service.
- It lets you know by email or WhatsApp as soon as there’s news.
- When the discount expires, it asks for it again.
What it doesn’t do
- It never changes your plan, your provider or your payment method, and never accepts a new minimum term.
- It doesn’t log into your provider account or ask for passwords.
- It doesn’t touch your bank and never sees your card number.
- It doesn’t pretend to be you: it speaks on behalf of the account holder, with their permission.
- It doesn’t sell or share your data.
How it charges

It charges 25% of what you save each month, and only while the saving lasts. No saving, no charge.

Payments go through Otto Autopilot, on Mercado Pago. You enter your card on Mercado Pago, not on Otto.

When you activate it, Mercado Pago charges ARS 15 to validate the payment method. If Otto doesn’t get you a saving, we refund it.

You can cancel whenever you want, from Otto or from Mercado Pago.

Your bill
To see how much you pay and what you have. It’s all Otto needs to read: you don’t have to give it access to your email.
Your DNI and your permission
The DNI is the Argentine ID number. Providers ask for both to discuss an account, and that’s how Otto speaks on your behalf.
Your email or WhatsApp
To tell you how the negotiation is going.

Why do some websites say Otto is new?
Because it is: ottopocket.com has existed since May 2026.
Some websites give every domain an automatic score. They lower it for young domains, for domains that don’t show the owner’s name in the domain registry (almost everyone hides it, for privacy) and for sites served from a shared network, like Amazon’s, which thousands of websites use. They don’t try the service or talk to its customers.
The details those websites can’t find are on this page: the company, who founded it, how it charges and what customers say.
Other questions
- Is Otto a scam?
- No. It’s a real service from a registered company (Insyder LLC), with a named founder and customer reviews on Google. It doesn’t ask for passwords or your card number, and if it doesn’t get a discount it charges nothing.
- Can my provider cut my service for asking for a discount?
- No. Asking for a better price is completely normal. Your service keeps working the same while Otto negotiates.
- Can I cancel whenever I want?
- Yes. From Otto or from Mercado Pago, whenever you want.
- Does it work outside Argentina?
- Not yet. Today Otto only negotiates with Argentine providers.
