Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Otto you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any of them, don't use the service. Questions go to support@ottopocket.com.

2. What Otto is

Otto detects your recurring subscriptions by reading (with your permission) your Gmail inbox. The extracted information is shown on a dashboard so you can track, add manual context, and understand your subscription spending.

3. Your account

• You need an active Google account to use Otto.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google account credentials secure.
• An Otto account is tied to a single person; sharing is not allowed.

4. What you agree to

• Use Otto only for your own email data — don't connect third-party accounts without authorization.
• Don't try to access data from other users.
• No reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to break the service's security.
• Don't use Otto for illegal activities or activities that violate Google's terms.

5. What we agree to

• Keep the service running with the best availability possible (99.5% target, no contractual guarantee at this stage).
• Handle your data according to our privacy policy.
• Notify you by email of important changes to the service or these terms.

6. Free version and paid plans

Otto offers a free version with basic functionality. In the future we may launch paid plans with additional features. If we launch paid plans, we will notify you in advance and the current free version will remain available.

7. Cancellation and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account or from the deletion page. When you delete your account, all your data is removed within 30 days.

Otto reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice when possible.

8. Limitation of liability

Otto is offered "as is". We do our best to make subscription detection accurate, but we do not guarantee detection of 100% of your subscriptions. You remain responsible for reviewing your expenses and cancelling subscriptions you don't want.

Otto is not a financial or legal advisor. The information we display is informational only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Otto is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Otto's maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid Otto in the last 12 months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute will be resolved in the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For substantial changes we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after notification means acceptance.
